Medical Biochemistry: Human Metabolism in Health and Disease

This book contains clinically relevant biochemistry for medical students. The chapters on cholesterol are great, and more accurate than other texts. I had trouble with biochemistry--study the pathways over and over again, then read the text, and it will all make sense. Also, the clinical portions of this book are very pragmatic. And the writing is clear and the text concise. Relevant pathology for boards is covered at the ends of chapters.
